    • Increased column heater cycle run by 36 months and saved $2.9M by researching and analyzing effects of processing light oils in distilling area.

    • Reduced 7 pumps repairing cost in 20% (each one repairing cost over $150K) by enhanced emergency repairs criteria and raised pumps operating efficiencies.

    • Enhanced amine contactor operation and saved $500K in amine solution by optimizing liquid temperature and increasing column pressure to avoid foaming formation.

    Conducted technical assurance and technical support for the assigned area. Established leadership and guidance to the process team supporting the area. Implemented proactive technical support to help ensure the assigned process units and systems are operated in a safe, environmentally compliance and efficient way.

    Selected Accomplishments:

    • Created and promoted margin Friday’s concept to identify at-hand optimization opportunities carry-out through management of change or projects, saving $8.5K within first year of implementation.

    • Reduced hydro-sulfur area operating downtime in 2%, increased equipment’s reliability by coordination with other disciplines mitigations steps for top 20 threats or issues identified.

    • Improved hydro-sulfur area image through process safety in 1%. Achieved results by consistently execute high quality technical assurance for management of change, proposed projects and critical process safety items.

    • Reduced gasoline reactors turnover for regeneration in 2%, saving $1M within one year by control coke balance distribution through reactors and maintained catalyst activity for unit performance.

    • Evaluated utilities chemicals consumption rates and third party treatment program against analysis results. Reduced expenses in $50K per year by increased operation cycles.

    • Improved work quality during design process in 1% by mentoring engineers and advising contractors about usage of appropriate company standards and regulations requirements.

    As flare and relief specialist delivered guidance and engineering support to the development and execution of the site safeguarding program. Worked to assure safe, environmentally compliance and reliable operations of the site assets. Serve as subject matter expert for overpressure related safeguarding concerns at the site.

    Selected Accomplishments:

    • Improved site image by updated 500 pressure relief valves overpressures scenarios at ethylene / natural gas units for safeguarding compliance. Budgeted & administered $5M for project execution.

    • Worked with project engineering to develop design concept, equipment’s specifications following approved design practices and work processes to allocated $2M in capital project for field modifications.

    • Enhanced relief valves database. Involved special programming and data transfer developed and executed by third party contract. Budgeted & administered $150K for project execution.

    • Authored process units operations treatments alternatives to support clean out activities executed by operations / contractor prior to facility decommissioned. Reduced disposition cost by $4.5M.

    • Developed two existing units re-engineering packages to achieve clean out & demolition. Negotiated for team’s resources and project execution. Administered $150K budgeted for these two projects.

    • Prepared design package for treatment of contaminated underground water by means of air stripping.
